Nesselande

On the outskirts of Rotterdam  a new neighbourhood has been created combined with a large recreation lake, well connected to the city. A park, yacht harbour, a beach and the shopping area composes the relation between the lake with the housing, creating a special living environment. Beach-culture  in the Dutch polder, 7 metres below sea level. Landscaping/urbanism as only the Dutch can. Arjen Knoester designed the urban plan and worked on the project as head urban planning / architecture supervisor for the City of Rotterdam.

Surfpark Zoetermeer

In the heart of the Randstad will be coming a large artificial wavepool with hotel, retail, training facilities, wakeboarding and other surf related sports. The scheme also includes around 300 houses of various typologies, from apartments, to row houses to single family dwellings, all in a car free landscaped park.  The pool will be one first of the world of this scale and wave height.

Binckhorst

Redeveloping the old Dutch Airforce headquarters in The Hague. Adding a new program for the location helps start the process of re-urbanization of the area

Den Haag Zuid West

This scheme contains a proposal for three Game Changing ingredients in order to improve the long term prospects of this post war social housing area in The Hague. By introducing an Urban lake, a Green Campus and a Bazar Quarter, Morfis allows new energy to flow into one of the most vulnerable districts of the city. New physical qualities are accompanied by social and economic opportunities in the area

Erasmusveld

The Erasmusveld is envisaged as a green fringed enclave in the contemporary surroundings, actually very similar to a garden city. The urban network in our vision offers crucial elements with recognisable spaces placed within the main structure: the ecolint, the green zones, the loop-loop. In our vision these provide spaces for the residential buildings and the shared green between.
